What to do in Paris on the weekend of August 25, 26 and 27, 2023, by Elle

In its article "What to do in Paris on the weekend of August 25, 26 and 27, 2023?", Elle magazine presents an exceptional dinner at Cléo, restaurant du Narcisse Blanc :

Between the Seine and the Eiffel Tower, a stone's throw from Les Invalides, chef Bruno Aubin invites gourmands to share an unforgettable dinner. At the helm of Cléo, the restaurant of the Narcisse Blanc Hôtel & Spa, he has imagined a gastronomic experience with affordable dishes and menus. For a warm summer evening, we start with the freshness of "Perle Blanche" oysters, enhanced with plum vinegar, yuzu cream and herb oils, for a visually original result (and one that follows in the mouth). For the main course, the tasty combination of octopus and tomato confit with chorizo is reminiscent of evenings by the sea, somewhere between Portugal and Spain. For a more subtle dish, the spice-roasted but still melting cod with its thyme and lemon broth is not to be missed. For dessert, the chef meticulously reworks classics and gives them a unique flavor, like the hibiscus baba campari (to share) with bergamot whipped cream (a very good combination). For a complete experience, opt for the "chef's menu" at 89 euros per person and in five stages (yellowtail, crispy artichoke, octopus, beef chuck and rice pudding). Dinner, served in a sober but chic room of human proportions, is particularly enjoyable, thanks to the quality of service provided by the staff and the invaluable advice they give on the choice of drinks, from original cocktails (it would be a shame to miss them) to wines by the glass from 14 euros.
