5 emblematic boutique hotel addresses in Paris, by Les Hardis
In its article "5 emblematic boutique hotel addresses in Paris", Les Hardis presents Le Narcisse Blanc :
Behind this name lies an iconic dancer, Cléo de Mérode, known as Joli petit Narcisse. From this muse of Nadar and Degas, the decorators of this 5-star hotel next to Les Invalides have borrowed the romanticism of the Belle Époque, weaving a delicate thread from the lobby to the rooftop rooms, from the restaurant to the spa. 37 keys adorned in shades of white, sand and champagne, with moldings, fireplaces and beams, Art Nouveau accents and high ceilings.
In the basement, Art Deco dominates the wellness area: a 13-meter counter-current swimming pool, a sauna and jacuzzi, a Clarins treatment cabin (wellness, we tell you!) and, last but not least, a small fitness room. Soft colors and a boudoir decor add to the intimate atmosphere of the Cléo restaurant, lit by the glass roof opening onto the patio. It offers a full range of meals, from breakfast to dinner, lunch or tea-time. At the piano, chef Bruno Aubin's menu is clear and concise, with classics just spiced up, such as leek with seaweed butter escorted by a smoked egg and shellfish.
